Beautification Day 2013
Saturday, August 24, 2013

Beautification Day will be held this year on Saturday, August 24, 2013. This annual event was established in 2005 as a citywide “spruce up” of all DC public school buildings in preparation for the first day of school. Beautification efforts will include landscaping, trash pick-up, light painting, planting flowers, and other external beautification efforts. Volunteers and supplies are needed at over 100 schools. Please click the links below to volunteer or donate supplies.
Registration will begin late Spring. For more information, please email dcps.beautificationday@dc.gov.
What Can I Donate?
We are happy to accept donations of new books, school supplies or beautification items. Please bring these donations on the day of the event along with this form.
