Students at Roosevelt Senior High School Win Best Class Web and Video Award

Students in the Mass Media and Communications class at Roosevelt Senior High School in Washington, DC were winners in the College Success Foundation's "Double the Numbers Youth Media Competition."
The students competed against students at Ballou Senior High School, Bishop McNamara Senior High, Friendship Collegiate Academy, and Thurgood Marshall Academy Public Charter School among others.
The Roosevelt students conceptualized, wrote, and produced a :30 second "Slide Into Success" video commercial, and created a college awareness website as part of the competition.
Through these two projects, the class awarded "Best Class Web and Video Products" by the foundation, and won a total of $2,000 in prizes.
