May 2, 2011 - Thomson and Ross elementary school students participated in Live with Regis and Kelly's Run Across America.
Three hundred students from both schools met at Thomson Elementary for a kick-off rally featuring Kelly Ripa. The students began their run and were surprised when their route led them directly to The White House.
Running through the gates and onto the South Lawn, the students were welcomed by First Lady Michelle Obama and were congratulated for their participation and commitment to active an lifestyle.
