Jade Gregoire, Grade 2

Hyde Addison Elementary

Accomplishment: Jade's art work featuring the cherry blossom festival won 3rd place for the 1st-3rd grade category and is on display at Union Station.

Masha Johansen, Grade 5

Hyde Addison Elementary

Accomplishment: Jade's art work featuring the cherry blossom festival won 2nd place for the4th-5th grade category and is on display at Union Station.

Key to Awesomeness: Both girls participate in the Fillmore Arts Center program where children from local schools experience a full art curriculum. Their art was recognized at the National Building Museum in March as part of the Cherry Blossom Festival. View story on The Georgetown Patch.
