Frequently Asked Questions about the Takoma Education Campus Reopen 

Families and students should attend one of two upcoming open houses.

When can students enter the building?

Students cannot enter the building until 8:30 a.m. on school days. Entry will be from the new cafeteria entrance. Parents can park on the street and should plan to drop off students at 8:30. School leadership will post signs that will direct students and families to the cafeteria entrance.

What time will breakfast be served?

Breakfast will be served between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m.

Will Takoma Education Campus continue to provide an afterschool program?

Yes. The afterschool program runs from 3:15 to 6:15 p.m. Students should have enrolled in the afterschool program by now.

Will there be any changes in school contact numbers?

No. All the school's phone numbers have remained the same.

What should students/families do to prepare for the move?

On Dec. 21, students will bring home all personal belongings and textbooks.

When will the open houses be held?

There will be two open houses: Dec. 31 and Jan. 2, 2012. Both run from noon-2 p.m. Students and their families are strongly encouraged to attend. At the open house, school leaders will provide maps and directories and guides will offer tours of the building.
