Leadership Opportunities

Whether you intend to stay in the classroom or transition to another role in a school or in the district, DCPS has a wide variety of exciting leadership roles to help you grow at every stage of your career
while serving our students. Leadership opportunities at DCPS include everything from serving as a teacher lead or curriculum writer to organizing monthly meetings of teachers in your content area or helping the teacher recruitment team select new teachers for the district.

Alongside the description of each opportunity, LIFT icons indicate the eligibility criteria for interested teachers. The “FT” icon indicates that an opportunity is a full-time position that would require you to leave the classroom.
