LEAP High School Internship Program

Bookmark and Share

The DC Public Schools’ Leaders Exploring Educational Advancement and Professionalism (LEAP) Internship is designed to provide DCPS high school students with the opportunity to earn community service hours while learning about the unique and exciting work of managing an urban school district.

The LEAP internship takes place in the Central Office of the DC Public Schools (DCPS), allowing LEAP interns the opportunity to participate in critical projects for DCPS that directly affect the student and teacher experience.  Participants will also benefit from weekly development sessions designed to grow students’ professional skills and support their efforts to select and apply for a college of their choice.
