How many projects can each school enter into the DC STEM Fair?

Each school has been allotted five (5) slots in order to ensure that every school has an opportunity to participate. Schools wishing to register additional projects should do so online; however, only the first five projects will be guaranteed admission to the fair.

Once the registration deadline is passed, any additional projects will be confirmed (with the registering teacher) if space is available.

My school’s fair is after the deadline, can I still register my students’ projects?

Only students whose project information can be fully and accurately entered into the online registration database – on or before the February 22nd deadline – will be eligible for inclusion in the DC STEM Fair.

What will students do once judging is completed?

Once judging is complete, students may engage in a variety of fun, hands-on activities and exhibits at the DC STEM Expo, which will run concurrently with the fair.

Will lunch be served at the DC STEM Fair?

Students participating in the DC STEM Fair will be treated to a boxed lunch. The DC STEM Fair will take into consideration students with special food requests or allergies (based on feedback received during student project registration). Lunch will not be provided to parents and other non-participating guests.

Who should I contact if I have a question that is not answered above?
