Nine DCPS students honored at Youth, Culture and Learning celebration

CalvinChinyereEllieJuly 9 - Nine DCPS middle and high school students were recognized as One World Education Student Ambassadors on April 28 at the organization's Youth, Culture & Learning Celebration. DCPS Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Carey Wright, was the keynote speaker at the event that recognized the organization's twelve 2011 One World Student Ambassadors.

Students' writings about culture and global issues were chosen from among 500 entries. Their writing, recognized as a One World Reflection, will be published on the One World Education website with aligned curriculum for teachers.
