One City Summer Kick-Off 

Open to District residents of all ages

Location: Banneker Recreation Center
                 2500 Georgia Avenue, NW
Date: Saturday, June 16, 2012
Time:  2 p.m. – 6 p.m. (children, adults, seniors); 
             6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (teens)


Join us for the One City Summer Kick-Off for a fun, interactive opportunity to learn about activities the city has available during the summer. This event is open to District residents of all ages.


The location is three blocks from the Shaw / Howard University Metro Station.

DPR will provide transportation from 4 proposed recreation center locations east of the river (Deanwood, Fort Davis, Barry Farm and Fort Greble) for children and their parents. Each site will provide transportation for 50 people. It will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and registration for transportation will take place during the first week of DPR camp.

Pick up’s will occur between 1:00 p.m.and 1:30 p.m.and return trips will take place between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
