Luke C. Moore High School to host its first Community Day
This is a free event and everyone is welcome!

Luke C. Moore Alternative High School will host a Community Day on Oct. 20, 2011, from 4-7 p.m.
The evening will begin with student led workshops and will include a short program and silent art auction reception.
Come learn how to extract DNA from a strawberry in science class or learn the basics of printmaking in art class, among many other options, each led by the school’s students!
The program will include jazz selections along with a special performance by the Luke C. Moore student go-go band. Refreshments will be served during the silent auction, which will include student artwork.
Please RSVP at LukeCMoore@dc.gov or call 202-281-3600.
We look forward to meeting many of you and hope you will join us in celebrating our students’ hard work.
