Lafayette Elementary School's Arts Celebration

As we continue to embrace the concept of using Arts Integration as an approach to teaching, we would like to invite you to our first Arts Integration Open House.

Each classroom teacher will teach an arts-integrated lesson so you can see the many ways we are integrating the arts at Lafayette. Because every lesson is not an arts integrated lesson, we will make sure that an arts integrated lesson will be taught on one of the open house days.

Arts Integration Open House - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

• Monday, May 7 - Pre K and 3rd
• Tuesday, May 8 - K - 2nd, 4th, and 5th

Arts Night I - 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m.

• Wednesday, May 9 - Pre K, K, and 1st grade
  • Music Performances
  • Step team Performance
  • Beginner and Advanced band, Strings, Guitar, and Percussion Performances

Arts Night II - 6:00 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

• Wednesday, May 23 - 2nd - 5th grade
  • Lafayette Choir Performance

In addition to performances, artwork from each of our 712 students will be exhibited throughout the building. Also, our award winning publication, IMAGES, featuring creative writing from every student, will be on sale.
