BET CEO Debra Lee to speak at Dunbar graduation 

Commencement ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 14, 2013

Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of Black Entertainment Television, Debra Lee, will be the keynote speaker at the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School commencement ceremony on Friday June 14.

Dunbar’s 143rd commencement ceremony will be held at Howard University’s Cramton Auditorium from 10am to 12pm. DC Mayor Vincent Gray and DC Delegate Eleanor Holmes-Norton (both are Dunbar graduates) will be in attendance, as well as Ward 5 Councilman Kenyan McDuffie (Chair Pro Tempore).

The graduates and their families will be honored by Principal Stephen Jackson, staff, faculty and the Dunbar Alumni Federation during a brief awards ceremony before Lee’s keynote address and the conferring of diplomas.
