The GIS (geographic information system) enabled Economic Security Administration (ESA) look-up tool gives the public the ability search for service centers that provide temporary assistance from the Department of Human Services.

ESA determines eligibility for benefits under the Temporary Cash Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Medical Assistance, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly Food Stamps), Child Care Subsidy, Burial Assistance, Interim Disability Assistance, Parent and Adolescent Support Services (PASS) and Refugee Cash Assistance programs.  Learn more by visiting http://dhs.dc.gov
