The District's Master Address Repository is a comprehensive database of building addresses and other location identifiers in the District of Columbia.  Each address in the database is assigned a unique Address Identification Number (AID), map coordinates, and other useful information.  The MAR was recently presented to the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) community at the 2006 ESRI International User Conference.
