(WASHINGTON, DC) – Mayor Vincent C. Gray today said he looks forward to discussing his proposed Fiscal Year 2012 Budget and Financial Plan with residents at his Ward 4 town hall meeting on Monday, May 2, at 7:00 p.m. at the Brightwood Education Campus, located at 1300 Nicholson Street, NW. Ward 4 Councilmember Muriel Bowser will co-host the meeting. On April 25, hundreds of people attended the first town hall meeting in Ward 8, viewed an informative presentation and engaged in a lively question and answer session.

Mayor Gray thanks the following community organizations for serving as co-hosts in Ward 4:

ANC 4A
ANC 4B
ANC 4C
ANC 4D
Ward 4 Democrats
North Portal Estates
Brightwood Citizens Association
Shepherd Park Citizens Association
South Manor Park Neighborhood Association

Staff from various District government agencies will be on hand to provide information about services. Following Ward 4, the next town hall meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, at 7 p.m. at Alice Deal Middle School, located at 3815 Fort Drive, NW, in Ward 3. In addition, the Mayor will have a special youth town hall on Saturday, May 21, at 10 a.m. in the Mayor's Press Briefing Room (G-9) of the John A. Wilson Building.
