Technology Projects


Technology improvements are one of the approaches DPR undertakes to continue to improve the level of service to DC residents and guests.  Improvements include better citywide internet access, improved computer labs, and enhancements to web services.  More information on DPR's technology improvements are provided below.

DC ID Activation

DC agencies are now coordinating their services to better serve DC residents and guests. OCTO has made it possible for DC residents and visitors to use their DC One Cards to access DPR sites and services.

The Department of Parks and Recreation has developed an online map application to allow DC residents and visitors to easily find information related to DPR parks, recreation centers and other facilities.
