Winter Wondercamp

Winter Wondercamp 2011

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) offers a fun option for our younger constituents: Winter Wondercamp! DPR will offer two sessions, each for three full days, tailored to the needs and interests of specific age groups. The over-arching theme for the camps will incorporate DPR’s “Move, Grow, and Be Green” philosophy, as we plant the seeds of personal development and environmental responsibility.

For the youngest (ages 3-5 years old), we will offer full day camp that will include sports activities, arts & crafts, and at least one field trip. For children aged 6-12 years old we will have a similar program; however, it will encompass more challenging and engaging activities. Both sessions should be fun as well as enriching for our city’s children! Please note: Lunch will not be provided for children. Please sent students with a sack lunch and snack each day.

Registration Fees

  • $30 per child; due at registration.  Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • $10 per child for Before-/After-care; due at registration

Registration

Information on registration will become available in late-November.
