(WASHINGTON, DC) – The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced today that the Takoma Aquatic Facility, located at 300 Van Buren St., NW, will temporarily close.  The DC Department of General Services (DGS) will conduct general pool and facility maintenance, along with painting, beginning on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 4 pm.

Takoma Aquatic Facility is expected to re-open on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 6 am.

All scheduled programs and classes will be cancelled during the maintenance improvement period.
