 Alley RepairTo request alley repairs in the District call 311 or 202-727-1000. DDOT’s goal is to make the repairs in a timely manner, using the most environmental friendly materials.  Curb and Gutter RepairsDDOT is responsible for maintaining the safety and function of curbs and gutters along public roadways.  Park and Charge PilotThe Park and Charge Pilot was launched in November 2010 to provide electric vehicle users the ability to charge up at public curbside parking spaces.  Pavement MarkingsPavement markings include crosswalk lines, turn arrows, lane dividers and bike lanes. You can request new pavement markings or repairs by calling the Mayor's Citywide Call Center at 311 or completing a service request online using the District government's Service Request Center.  Permitting Applications for Use in Public SpaceApplications for permits to use or occupy public space in the District can be submitted at the Permitting Center, located at 1100 4th Street, SW, 2nd Floor.  Report a Broken Parking MeterDDOT is responsible for installations and maintenance of Parking Meters throughout the District of Columbia.  School Transit Service RequestsSchools in the District can request new transit services if they meet certain criteria.  Sidewalk RepairYou can request sidewalk repair services by calling the Mayor's Citywide Call Center at 311 or completing a service request online using the District government's Service Request Center.  Speed Hump RequestThe use of speed humps can reduce the negative effects of motor vehicle use, alter driver behavior, and improve conditions for pedestrians and non-motorized street and roadway users.
