This Project will transform Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, NE between Minnesota and Eastern Avenues by enhancing the appearance of the neighborhood and improving accessibility, mobility and overall safety.
This project will rehabilitate the intersection of Nebraska Avenue and Military Road. The project includes 810’ of Nebraska, 550’ of Military Road and 190’ of Broad Branch Road to meet other projects terminated nearby.
DDOT, IPMA is conducting safety evaluation along New Jersey Avenue, NW between H and N Streets, NW to determine improvements necessary to address existing safety and traffic operational deficiencies within the corridor.
DDOT’s New York Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation Project is funded by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA). The long term benefits to be gained from the rehabilitation of the bridge will ease congestion and improve safety.
The O and P Streets Rehabilitation Project is complete and will rehabilitate two historic stretches of roadway in Georgetown, O and P Streets between 37th Street and Wisconsin Avenue.
This project will develop alternatives and assess impacts for the reconstruction of Oregon Avenue. The project will include sidewalks, drainage facilities, signage and pavement markings.
This design project is to improve access within Oxon Run Park and the non-motorized network connections to surrounding destinations by rehabilitating the existing trails, as well as extending the trail networks.
Replacement of 16th Street NW Bridge over Military Road NW
The Sherman Avenue Streetscape Project will bring major enhancements to Sherman Avenue, NE between Park Road and Florida Avenue in northwest.
The South Capitol Street Corridor Project will transform the street from an urban freeway into a boulevard while improving safety, multi-modal transportation mobility and community access that will support economic development.
