Middle Georgia Avenue Project 


The Middle Georgia Avenue Great Streets Project includes the reconfiguration of the Georgia Avenue, 9th Street and Taylor Street intersection, upgrades to existing traffic signals and bringing equipment up to current standards, landscaping enhancements, lighting, and furniture improvements to existing parks (DC Parks and Recreation). These improvements will apply to Georgia Avenue between Otis Place and Webster Street, 9th Street between Georgia and Kansas Avenues, and Upshur Street between Georgia Avenue and 8th Street. Construction will continue through November 2011.
