The 2012 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Summit and Networking Event was held on May 3, 2012 at the Kellogg Conference Center, Gallaudet University. The annual event was sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration, DC Division and the District Department of Transportation.

Officials from US Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, and District Department of Transportation (DDOT) spoke about the DBE program and upcoming DDOT projects. Certified DBE firms had opportunities to network with DDOT prime contractors in heavy construction and civil engineering during the event.
