(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is reminding all public space permit holders that non-emergency street and sidewalk work within the District’s right-of-way is to be suspended on Monday, October 10, 2011 in observance of the Columbus Day Holiday, as per section 103.01 Article 17 item C of the District’s Manual for Standard Specifications for Highways and Structures.

The moratorium also applies to manhole access. Crews may resume work beginning Tuesday, October 11, 2010 during their permitted working hours.
