(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced motorists, in northeast Washington, will encounter single lane conditions on eastbound and westbound New York Avenue between Penn Street and Florida Avenue between 6 am and 7 pm on Saturday, March 2. These lane closures will be required to accommodate work associated with the New York Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation Project.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes such as Rhode Island Avenue or H Street, NE to avoid delays through this area.
