Temporary Weekend Closure Planned for the D Street, SW Exit Ramp on the 11th Street Bridge

(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced the D Street, SW exit ramp on the 11th Street Bridge will be temporarily closed from 7 am to 12 pm on Saturday, August 11. The closure will allow crews to install a streetlight on the D street exit ramp.

Traffic desiring to access D Street, SW will be redirected through the 12th Street Tunnel, to Constitution Avenue, NW, then to 7th Street, NW and onto to D Street, SW.

Variable message signs will be posted to alert motorists about the closures and guide them through the detour.
