(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be temporarily closing the right shoulder on southbound Interstate 395 right between the 7th and 9th Street exits from 10 am to 3 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2012; weather permitting. During the closure crews will be repairing a variable message sign on the interstate and access to the 7th and 9th Street exits will remain open.
Motorists and travelers are advised there may be minimal impacts to the flow of traffic.
DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel through the work zone.
