(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be closing a single inbound lane on the Chain Bridge daily between 10 am and 2:45 pm, beginning Tuesday, January 18 through Friday, January 21, weather permitting.
The lane closures are required to remove cable from the rigging equipment used during the recent rehabilitation of the bridge.
One lane will remain open in each direction for traffic crossing the bridge. Temporary signs will be in place to alert the traveling public in this area.
