(Washington, DC) The southbound 3rd Street Tunnel (I-395) will be closed From 11 pm on Sunday, July 15 through 3 am the following morning, to accommodate onsite production activities associated with the DC Office of Motion Picture and Television Development (MPTD).

Detour
At New York Avenue, NW southbound traffic will be detoured down 4th Street, to D Street, to 3rd Street to access the tunnel at C Street.
Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists through the detour.
