Overnight Closure Planned for Intersection of M Street and Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown

(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is advising travelers that the intersection of M Street and Wisconsin Avenue, NW in Georgetown will be closed from 11 pm Sunday, December 2 to 4 am on Monday, December 3, to allow for the installation of holiday decorations. Marked detours will be set up to guide motorists and cyclists around the closure. The work may also require temporary closures of the sidewalks at the intersection.

The closure will also impact DC Circulator service. The Dupont Circle - Georgetown - Rosslyn route will end service one hour early on Sunday, December 2, at 11 pm. The Georgetown - Union Station route will turn around at Washington Circle beginning at 11 pm Sunday until service ends at midnight.
