Maine Avenue Ramp from Northbound 14th Street, SW to be Closed and Traffic Detoured on Saturday, November 5

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close the Maine Avenue ramp from northbound 14th Street, SW — inbound from the 14th Street Bridge — on Saturday, November 5 from 7 am to 5 pm to conduct drainage and concrete work for the Maine Avenue, SW Trail Widening Project.

During the closure, signs will detour traffic from 14th Street, SW to Maine Avenue, SW as follows:

  • Follow 14th Street, SW past the Maine Avenue ramp
  • Make a right on C Street, SW
  • Make a right on 12th Street, SW
  • Make a left onto Maine Avenue, SW

Traffic wishing to access Washington Marina or the Fish Market can do so from Maine Avenue by taking 9th Street, SW to Water Street.

Electronic signs will be in place to provide motorists advanced notice of the closure and detour.
