(Washington, DC) Starting this week the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be restricting lanes on Middle Georgia Avenue, NW between Kansas Avenue and Otis Place to accommodate roadway resurfacing activities for the Middle Georgia Avenue Great Streets Project. The lane restrictions are scheduled to take place between 7 am and 7 pm Monday through Friday and will continue through November 23, weather permitting.
During this time lanes on Middle Georgia Avenue will be kept open as follows:
- 7 am – 9:30 am: Two southbound lanes and one northbound lane will be kept open.
- 9:30 am – 3:30 pm: One southbound and one northbound lane will be kept open.
- 3:30 pm – 6 pm: Two northbound lanes and one southbound lane will be kept open.
- 6 pm – 7 pm: One southbound lane and one northbound lane will be kept open.
During this time access to all properties will be kept open and curbside parking will not be permitted.
Temporary signs will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
