(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close the right lane on eastbound Maine Avenue in the area of the inbound 14th Street Bridge and periodically stop traffic on the ramp itself from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on Tuesday, February 21 to conduct traffic signal replacement work.
Variable message signs will be placed to provide motorists with advance warning about the lane closure and traffic stoppage. Motorists are urged to choose alternate routes to avoid potential delays.
This work is being done as part of the final phases of work for the Maine Avenue Trail Widening and Eastbound Roadway Resurfacing Project.
