DDOT Continues Tunnel Inspections

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will continue to conduct tunnel inspections through December 1; weather permitting. The inspections are part of an on-going safety and maintenance effort that’s in place to closely monitor the tunnel network in the District of Columbia.

Single lane closures will be required to conduct these activities in a safe manner. Some tunnels will also need to be closed in one direction to conduct these activities.

Temporary signs will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
