D Street, NW between 2nd and 3rd Streets and Southbound I-395 Ramps will be Closed March 18-20

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be closing D Street, NW between 2nd and 3rd Streets and the ramps to the southbound I-395 in this area starting at 12 pm on Friday, March 18 through 8 pm on Sunday, March 20, weather permitting.

These closures will be required to accommodate the crane equipment that will be placed by the General Services Administration on D Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets to remove and replace an air conditioning system at the Francis Perkins Building located at 200 Constitution Avenue, NW.

Temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public. Traffic control personnel will be on site to guide those motorists that are exiting the tunnel through the 2nd Street northbound ramp.
