Canal Road Closed Due to Early Morning Crash

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is advising travelers to avoid Canal Road this morning. Canal Road is currently closed in both directions between Arizona Avenue and Foxhall Road, due to an earlier accident at Canal and Clark Place, NW and the roadway is expected to remain closed through the morning rush hour. MacArthur Boulevard is open but motorists can expect heavy traffic and delays.
