Weekend Lane Closures Planned for New York Avenue Between Penn Street and Florida Avenue 

Motorists will encounter overnight single lane conditions on New York Avenue between Penn Street and Florida Avenue in northeast Washington starting at 10 pm tonight.

Motorists will encounter overnight single lane conditions on New York Avenue between Penn Street and Florida Avenue in northeast Washington starting at 10 pm tonight.

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced motorists will encounter overnight single lane conditions on New York Avenue between Penn Street and Florida Avenue in northeast Washington stating at 10 pm tonight. These activities will be required to accommodate work associated with the New York Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation Project.

The single lane conditions for eastbound (outbound) and westbound (inbound) New York Avenue will occur starting at 10 pm tonight (Friday, March 23) through 10 am tomorrow (Saturday, March 24) and between 5 am and 2 pm on Saturday, March 31.

DDOT encourages all motorists to Stay Alert and follow all signs as they travel through this corridor.
