Temporary Weekend Lane Restrictions Planned for the New Hampshire Avenue Bridge

This weekend there will be traffic lanes restrictions on the New Hampshire Avenue Bridge between First and Oglethorpe Streets, in Northeast Washington.

(Washington, DC) This weekend the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be restricting traffic lanes on the New Hampshire Avenue Bridge between First and Oglethorpe Streets, in Northeast Washington. The lane restrictions will allow crews to conduct general maintenance activities on the bridge.

The lane restrictions will start at 6 am on Saturday, November 5 and continue through 5 am on Monday, November 7, weather permitting. During this time a single lane in each direction will be kept open on New Hampshire Avenue between First and Oglethorpe Streets.

Traffic control signs will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through this area.
