Temporary Traffic Pattern Change Will Close the Southbound Lane and Keep a Single Northbound Lane Open for a New Phase of Construction Activity

As part of the Harvard Triangle Intersections Improvement Project motorists will encounter one-way traffic on northbound Adams Mill Road, NW between Harvard Street, NW and Kenyon Street, NW starting on or about Thursday, November 29, weather permitting. In addition, the current southbound lane will be closed.

(Washington, DC) – As part of the Harvard Triangle Intersections Improvement Project motorists will encounter one-way traffic on northbound Adams Mill Road, NW between Harvard Street, NW and Kenyon Street, NW starting on or about Thursday, November 29, weather permitting. In addition, the current southbound lane will be closed.

This traffic pattern change will allow crews to proceed with roadway excavation and replacement, utility work, curb and sidewalk replacement, and retaining wall construction. At this location this construction phase is projected to last five months, weather permitting.

DDOT encourages all motorists to Stay Alert and follow all signs as they travel through this corridor.
