Temporary Single Lane Closures for Bridges and Ramps 

Single lane closures will be conducted on District bridges and ramps between 10 am and 3:30 pm to facilitate paint related maintenance activities.

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be conducting temporary single lane closures on the following bridges and ramps between 10 am and 3:30 pm to facilitate paint related maintenance activities:

05/15/2012 Portland Street over South Capitol Street
05/15/2012 New York Avenue over North Capital Street

05/16/2012 Ramp "A" over "C" Street (RFK Stadium)
05/17/2012 Ramp "A-B" over Pedestrian Walk (RFK Stadium)
05/17/2012 Ramp "C-D" over Pedestrian Walk (RFK Stadium)
05/18/2012 Park Road over Piney Branch Parkway (Rock Creek Pk.)
05/18/2012 Klingle Road, NW over Rock Creek & Beach Drive


While these activities are taking place one traffic lane will be closed and the remaining lanes will be kept open. A minimum of one lane will be open to traffic at all times.

The traveling public can expect minor delays at these sites while the activities are underway.

DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel through the work zone.
