WASHINGTON, DC – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced it will temporarily close the northbound curb lane on South Capitol Street, SE just north of Malcolm X Avenue, SE between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm starting Wednesday, January 16 thru Friday, January 18 and again on Tuesday, January, 22 and Wednesday, January 23. The lane closure will be required to accommodate DC Streetcar related construction activities along this stretch.

Temporary signs will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
