(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) and the Office of Motion Picture and Television Development (MPTD) are advising travelers that the following road closures and parking restrictions will be in place this week in conjunction with the BET Honors. The televised awards program is scheduled for Saturday evening, January 15, and parking restrictions will begin Wednesday morning.

Parking Restrictions

• East and west curb lanes of 12th Street, NW between E Street and F Street, from 12 am Wednesday, January 12 until 6 am Sunday, January 16
• East curb lane of 13th Street, NW between E and F Street, from 12 am Thursday, January 13 until 6 am Sunday, January 16
• North curb lane of E Street, NW between 12th Street and 13th Street, from 12 am Thursday, January 13 until 6 am Sunday, January 16

Street and Sidewalk Closures

• E Street, NW and sidewalks between 12th Street and 13th Street, from 12 am on Saturday, January 15 until 6 am Sunday January 16
• 13th Street, NW and sidewalks between Pennsylvania Avenue and F Street, from 6 am Saturday, January 15 until 2 am Sunday, January 16
• North curb lane of Pennsylvania Avenue, NW between 12th and 13th Streets, from 6 am Saturday, January 15 until 2 am Sunday, January 16
