Single Lane Closures for Bridge Preservation and Deck Repairs 

Between March 22 through April 30 a series of bridge preservation and deck repair activities will be conducted.

Between March 22 through April 30 a series of bridge preservation and deck repair activities will be conducted between 10 am and 3 pm and will require single lane closures on the bridges.

(Washington, DC) – Between March 22 through April 30 the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be conducting is series of bridge preservation and deck repair activities on the Michigan Avenue Bridge over Park Place, NW, the South Capitol Street Bridge over Suitland Parkway, SW, and the Southern Avenue Bridge over Suitland Parkway, SE. These activities will be conducted between 10 am and 3 pm and will require single lane closures on the bridges.

While a single lane is closed on the Michigan Avenue Bridge a single lane will also be closed on Park Place under the bridge.

While a single lane is closed on the South Capitol Street Bridge a single lane will also be closed on Suitland Parkway under the bridge.

Bridge access will be kept open at all times.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn motorists as they approach these work areas.
