Overnight Single Lane Conditions Planned for Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 14th Streets

WASHINGTON, DC – Between Saturday, November 17 and Tuesday, November 20, weather permitting, motorists may encounter single lane conditions along Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 14th Streets in northwest Washington. The single lane conditions will be required to allow crews to continue installing a bike lane along this stretch of Pennsylvania Avenue.

The installation activities will take place overnight from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am the following morning.

While this work takes place a single lane per direction will be kept open at all times on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn motorists as they approach the areas.

Motorists are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and be observant of the inspection personnel.
