(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be conducting overnight paving activities on eastbound New York Avenue, NE from Fairview Avenue past the 9th Street Bridge.
The work is scheduled to take place overnight between 9 pm and 5 am starting on Wednesday, July 20 and continuing through Monday, July 25, weather permitting.
While this work is taking place two eastbound lanes will be closed on New York Avenue. One eastbound lane will remain open at all times. Westbound New York Avenue will remain open.
Variable Message Boards will be posted to alert and guide the traveling public through this area. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
