Overnight Closures for 8th Street Exit Ramp on 11th Street Bridge To Occur February 6, 7 and 11
The 8th Street exit ramp on the northbound 11th Street Freeway Bridge (WB I-695) will close overnight February 6, 7 and 11 to complete drainage pipe inspection and cleaning along the roadway.

WASHINGTON, DC — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close the 8th Street exit ramp on the northbound 11th Street Freeway Bridge (WB I-695) overnight February 6, 7 and 11 to complete drainage pipe inspection and cleaning along the roadway.
The overnight closures will occur from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am the following morning.
Detour
Traffic seeking access to 8th Street, SE from the inbound 11th Street Freeway Bridge (WB I-695) will be detoured to M Street, SE, then to 11th Street, SE, and onto I Street, SE.
Electronic signs will be in place to provide motorists advanced notice of the scheduled closures.
In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, this work will be rescheduled and an updated advisory will be distributed.
