(Washington, DC) Starting tonight the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be restricting lanes on I Street, NW between 11th and 15th Streets to conduct roadway repairs. The repair work will take an estimated ten day period to complete and will include milling and overlay activities on both sides of the roadway.

The lane restrictions will be in place from 8 pm to 4 am Monday through Friday and from 7 am to 5 pm on Saturday; weather permitting.

While the restrictions are in place a single lane in each direction will be kept open at all times.

Signage will be posted as work begins in each block 72 hours prior to the work beginning.

Parking restriction signs will also be posted, at a minimum, 72 hours in advance. These signs will identify the duration of the parking restriction and include the contact information for the on-site engineer in charge of the project.
