(Washington, DC) – The District of Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to begin the next phase of the Nebraska Avenue Reconstruction Project next week, requiring a shift in the work zone and traffic pattern.
The contractor will relocate concrete jersey barriers on or about Wednesday, August 1, 2012. The work during this phase will take approximately 3 weeks, weather permitting, and will be focused mainly in the center lane of Military Road, east of Nebraska Avenue.

After the center lane of Military Road is completed crews will move to the north lane (westbound travel lane) of Military Road. That phase is projected to begin on or around the week of August 22 and will last approximately 8 weeks.
