(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be temporarily closing the curb lanes on Kalmia Road, NW between East Beach Drive and West Beach Drive to conduct a series of geotechnical investigations that will be required to replace a culvert in the area.
The curb lanes will be closed between 9:30 am and 3 pm on Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1. A single lane in each direction will be kept open along this stretch of Kalmia Road.
Temporary signs will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through this area.
