(Washington, DC) The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water), in coordination with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is conducting an emergency sanitary sewer line repair on Broad Branch Road, NW between Brandywine Street and Ridge Road.

While the emergency repair is underway Broad Branch Road will remain closed. It is anticipated that the repair work will be completed by Thursday, July 14, 2011.

Temporary traffic signs and detour signage will be set up throughout the area to alert and guide motorists.
